Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Planning Material Control Manager to oversee our company's material control and planning functions. This role is vital in ensuring the effective management of materials, inventory levels, and production schedules. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in material planning, supply chain management, and inventory control, with a keen eye for detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage comprehensive material planning strategies to meet production and customer demands.
· Oversee inventory levels to ensure availability of materials while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
· Coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to optimize material flow and improve efficiency.
· Prepare and review forecast models to anticipate material needs based on production schedules and sales forecasts.
· Monitor supplier performance and collaborate to address any supply chain disruptions.
· Lead and mentor a team of material planners, providing training and guidance to improve departmental performance.

Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
· Skills:
- Excellent command of English: both written and spoken, as this role requires frequent communication with international suppliers and BODs.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and material planning processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
