The team

Hitachi Digital Services Vietnam is part of a 300 strong global delivery network, supporting Hitachi Digital Services around the globe. Our employees collaborate with teams in Japan, India, Portugal, and the US, servicing customers worldwide and working on a huge variety of projects. From cloud migration to digital modernization and advanced analytics, offering operational excellence, agile delivery, and plenty of energy to work on huge transformation projects for our customers.

The role

The Bridge Software Engineer (BrSE) will report directly to the project manager and play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication between Japanese clients and the development team. This role will be responsible for gathering and managing project requirements, facilitating meetings, ensuring quality assurance, and supporting internal communication to drive project success.

• Serve as the communication bridge between Japanese clients and offshore development teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
• Ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• B.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant major.
• Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2 or above) and English.
• Having at least 3 years of working experience as BrSE or Japanese Speaking Software Engineer positions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage cross-cultural teams and complex projects.

• Design and implement machine learning pipelines for NLP, LLM, and automation agents.
• Develop and optimize models for text understanding, generation, and conversational AI.
• Integrate AI solutions into production environments with scalability and reliability.
