• To keep an up-to-date record of lost and found items • To handle all guest requests, record and ensure prompt delivery of guest reports and extra items • To update room status through the telephone or computer • To respond promptly and politely to guest telephone inquiries, marking down details and following up accordingly • To liaise closely with engineering in reference to maintenance, repair and out-of-order rooms • To liaise closely with front desk in reference to arrivals and departures • To maintain, control and catalog all guest supplies and amenities • To maintain, control and reports on linen inventory • To prepare discrepancy reports for the front office and submit for checking and final approval • To handle guest complaints efficiently and report to Executive Housekeeper • To ensure that all prescribed housekeeping books are used according to policies and properly kept and updated • To control the daily loss, breakage and consumption report
