The Flow Field Application Specialist is responsible for providing applications support to existing customers, coordinating and performing product demonstrations for prospective customers, developing new applications through collaborations (industrial or academic), troubleshooting technical problems, and training customers in the use of our products.

This position reports to the General Manager and dotted line to Sales Manager and is part of the SEA commercial team located in Vietnam and will be working remotely to cover Vietnam and SEA.

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

• Provide technical and application support to SEA dealers and direct customers, integrating instruments, assays and connectivity solutions into customer laboratories, supporting customer during the evaluation and implementation
• Provide demonstration of instrumentation, software and reagents to current and potential customers.
• Jointly develop account strategies with Sales Representatives aimed at increasing business and retaining current business.
• Active involvement in pre-sales activities to support business development by conducting technical seminars and presentations at customer sites, trade shows and workshops to drive thought leader adoption
• Follow normal standard of work for documentation such as customer complaint handling to ensure total customer satisfaction and facilitate the dissemination of tech application /marketing info to the SEA team.
  
  

The Essential Requirements For The Job Include

• Degree in biotechnology, immunology, Life science, biological science or related scientific field study
• Experience in the field of Flow cytometry, Ultracentrifuge, Automation or experience as Application Specialist
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to travel - 40% travel local and international
• Fluent in local language and English (written and spoken)
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Excellent communicative and analytical skills combined with high customer and team orientation. sales and customer service oriented, good presentation and ease of expression
• High ability to work independently without supervision.
• Rigorous, organized, resourceful, and able to liase with different hierarchical levels
