• To oversee and ensure the effective implementation of the tender system so that the continuous supply of quality goods and services to the hotel are not compromised.
• To ensure the timely preparation of purchase order so that all approved purchase requests can be ordered and the goods delivered by the suppliers on the date needed.
• To track the delivery process of purchase order, receive the goods and provide it for department request
• To conduct market survey in association with department concerned to determine and/or validate the availability and prices of market goods
• To coordinate and liaise with head of department on all outstanding matters pertaining to quality, reliability of delivery so that the standards set by the hotel are not compromised.
• To keep track of all outstanding purchase orders to ensure that goods are delivered on time, in formalizing a monthly outstanding order report per department.
• To examine both quality and quantity of goods received in coordination with related Department Heads before accepting delivery.
• To ensure that goods are promptly moved to Stores or the concerned department once received.

• Working time: Monday to Friday (Off weekends)

• Graduated from Finance/Accounting/ or related major
• Having more than 1 year experience in Purchasing
• Prefer candidates working in Hospitality/Customer-Service environment
• English communication
• Contracting and purchasing activities must be fair, transparent and conducted with a view to obtaining the best value for hotel
• Confidential information must be safeguarded.
• Honesty, care and due diligence must be integral to all procurement activities within and between the hotel, its suppliers and other stakeholders.
