PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure service and production is provided in the proper manner, and with the usual high standards.

2. Action - Understand, maintain and execute operation manuals and guidelines.

3. Supervise and develop personnel in his/her Department to their maximum effectiveness.

4. Understand and control costs. Detect waste in “man” minutes, methods, money, machines, and materials and take the appropriate action.

5. Be aware and initiate improvements. Look and listen to everything with an open mind. There are always ways to improve.

6. Establish safe working conditions and practices. Ensure proper cleanliness in all areas. Ensure staff are appropriately attired at all times.

7. Maintain high quality of Housekeeping standards

8. Create progressive reporting relationships with superiors and subordinates.

9. Develop skills in decision making and problem solving. Delegate effectively.

10. Administer labor relation functions

11. Undertake a public relations role in representing the Hotel as a member of management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A diploma or degree qualification. Good English.

Experience: Minimum 02 years hotel-related experience.
