- Maintaining and developing relationship with customers in person and via telephone calls and emails

- Representing the company at the trade exhibitions; business event and demonstration
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
- Negotiating on prices; costs; delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
- Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
