About the role
As a Finance Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing periodic financial reports, managing AP/AR and account reconciliations, and supporting tax compliance. The role works closely with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations, effective cash flow management, and adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform account reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer, intercompany).
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure timely processing of payments to vendors and employees according to agreed payment terms.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings.
- Collaborate with other departments and other entities to ensure proper financial data flow.
- Other tasks/Ad-hoc as required by the Finance Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting – Fresher.
- Knowledge about IFRS is a plus.
- Proficient in English (both report writing and conversation).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Responsible, well-organized, and able to work independently.
- Basic understanding in using Microsoft Excel and Accounting Software.
