Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Code for the win: Design and develop backend services, systems, and platforms that power our gaming products and elevate the player experience.
- Craft quality gameplay: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while building reusable libraries and tools.
- Stay on the leaderboard: Analyze requirements and develop high-performance features tailored to product needs.
- Optimize the grind: Continuously identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and improve system stability and performance.
- Build for teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust features.
- Unlock new tools: Develop supporting utilities and systems to streamline operations and enhance development efficiency.
What Makes You a Pro
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in web technologies and security, with hands-on experience in gaming-related industries a plus.
- Technical Expertise:
- Solid foundation in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases).
- Proficient in programming languages like Python, Node.js, C++, Go, or Java.
- Skilled in Linux environments, multi-threaded programming, and web servers (e.g., Apache, NGINX, HAProxy).
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP) and experience with distributed systems. Mindset & Soft Skills: - Passion for gaming, innovation, and solving complex problems with code.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, with a “Can Do” attitude and strong multitasking abilities.
- Quick learner with excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
