Prepare complex individual, partnership, trust, and corporate income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Conduct tax planning and provide strategic advice to clients on tax-efficient structures, deductions, and opportunities for tax savings.
Assist clients with tax audits, appeals, and negotiations with tax authorities.
Research and interpret changes in tax legislation, case law, and administrative policies to proactively advise clients.
Manage the tax workflow for a portfolio of clients, including liaising with other accountants
Mentored and trained junior tax accountants in technical skills and client relationship management.
Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand existing client relationships.
Stay up to date with the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry trends through continuous professional development.
Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax planning and optimization.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Collaborate with the internal team to streamline Tax accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Take full responsibility for your work and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Act as a valuable resource for future team members, training and mentoring new hires as the team expands.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Good command of English.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
Proven experience working in outsourcing companies.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
