The Dispatching Supervisor for our chain store is responsible for managing the dispatch operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods to multiple store locations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on customer service, and the ability to optimize logistics processes across our network of stores.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:

· Supervise, train, and support a team of dispatchers and drivers.

· Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.

· Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

2. Dispatch Operations:

· Oversee and coordinate daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely deliveries to stores.

· Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

· Monitor dispatch performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

3. Customer Service:

· Respond promptly to store managers and other internal stakeholders regarding delivery issues or inquiries.

· Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.

4. Coordination and Communication:

· Coordinate with store managers, warehouse staff, and drivers to ensure smooth logistics operations.

· Maintain clear and consistent communication with all parties involved in the dispatch process.

· Update stakeholders on delivery status, delays, or issues as necessary.

5. Technology and Systems:

· Utilize dispatch software and other logistics tools to manage dispatch operations.

· Ensure accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date dispatch records.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dispatch systems and tools.

6. Compliance and Safety:

· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

· Promote and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

· Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
