Overview

Our client who ’ s currently looking for Manual Quality Controller is Australia ’ s leading finance broker aggregator and equipment leasing business for small to medium-sized enterprises. They are looking to take their successful broker aggregation platform to the next level of its growth and are expanding their team of talented and hardworking individuals who like to be in control of their work and solve problems together.

Built on Angular and .NET Core and hosted in Azure, you will have the pleasure of working on a modern tech stack, gain valuable experience in the financial services industry, and build great long-term relationships with the team.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities are:

• Collaborate closely with the team to understand business requirements and expected system behaviours .
• Design, document, and execute test plans to cover acceptance criteria and edge cases.
• Report bugs into our work tracking system with appropriate reproduction steps and relevant information for developers to diagnose and fix.
• Escalate critical bugs to the appropriate developer and Team Leader as necessary.
• Regression test relevant areas of the software that have changed.
• Prioritize work and self-manage your time to be productive throughout the day.
• Attend the relevant Agile ceremonies (e.g. daily stand up, retrospective, etc.).
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Ideally you will have the following experience and skills:

• 2-4 years of experience testing web sites and web APIs.
• Strong attention to detail e.g. to business requirements, system behaviours , acceptance criteria, testing, etc.
• Strong analytical skills e.g. identifying edge cases, detecting gaps in business requirements/acceptance criteria, initial root cause analysis of bugs, etc.
• Familiar with different browser behaviours .
• Familiar with browser developer tools.
• At least 2 year s working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
  
  
  

Experience in the following technologies is not required but will be highly favorable:

• HTML, CSS, JSON.
• Postman or equivalent tool.
