• Working Time: following Malaysia Time
• Working Days: 5 working days, 2 off days from Monday to Sunday
• Working Hours: Rotational Night Shift (It will be scheduled by the operation team and it is mandatory to follow schedule set; cannot choose your shift timing)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Interpreters interpret verbal communication from one language to another, and act as mediums where language barriers exist.
• Interpreters are expected to manage calls from different industries including but not limited to calls from the education industry, health care industry, insurance industry, banking industry and other industries.
• This role requires a candidate with strong mental capability to interpret as the subject is sensitive.
• The sample of types of calls: Emergency/911, Education, Health Care/ Medical, Insurance/ Banking.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acting as Interpreter between a wide range of people with diverse voices, accents, speaking tempos and personalities.
• Providing parties with clear and exact translations of written materials, and interpretations of verbal communication.
• Providing interpretations of questions, answers, statements, arguments, explanations, and other forms of verbal communication.
• Completion of daily activity logs and other documentation.
• Complying with applicable ethics and standards

Required skills:

• Excellent in English (C1 and above) and Chinese (Mandarin/ Cantonese) 
• Have strong mental health and mindset

Required facilities: 

1. Internet - Need to have a Cable-Modem or Fiber Optic WIFI (NO Broadband or Mobile Data)
2. Laptop/ PC with Webcam/Camera – for online assessment, training and operation purposes
3. Mobile Phone - for operation purpose (for backup)
