About the Job:

In KPMG Forensic Technology Consulting (F-Tech) teams, we combine industry and technology expertise to create advanced technology solutions for clients in response to regulatory compliance, investigations, risk, strategic and operational matters. We consult with clients and deliver solutions in a variety of areas of data management, modelling and systems testing, that assist clients in assessing and optimising their financial crime systems. We also work on developing data-driven technology assets in a variety of platforms.

We support our clients with a full range of services:

• Financial Crime Technology services, helping transform a client’s financial crime technology landscape, checking controls are up to scratch and deploying data analytics and machine learning techniques to help reduce the burden of compliance in sanctions and transaction monitoring.

• Forensic e-Discovery services, including identification, capture, preservation, analysis and presentation of electronic data from laptops, desktops, servers, backup tapes, cell phones, and a wide variety of other media in the context of cyber incident responses, forensic investigations, (commercial) litigation support and regulatory obligations.

• Technology Risk Consulting services, including
• designing and implementing data analysis routines and tools to detect fraud and/or control weaknesses;
• reviewing General IT Controls (GITC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC);
• conducting Information Technology (IT) Audit using computerized audit techniques and systems;r
• developing business requirements for Governance, Risk and Compliance platforms and evaluation of solution vendors; and
• assisting in risk platform implementation projects.


Responsibilities:

Day to day, you will be working in project teams, independent, but supervised by more experienced colleagues.

The specific responsibilities of the F-Tech Risk Consulting Specialist include:
• Act as a workstream participant on a wide variety of projects across a broad range of industries, serving clients domestically and internationally
• Take a proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work unsupervised to meet deadlines
• Deliver quality, efficient and profitable outcomes by diligent completion of own work, supervising the work of the engagement team and monitoring the overall engagement
• Maintain strong positive relationships with middle and senior client personnel
• Identify issues and opportunities and communicate these to the more experienced colleagues
• Develop thorough knowledge and understating of the global/ local risk management procedures of KPMG and ensure its compliance in all assignments
