Job Summary

Fraser Residence Hinode City in Hanoi, Vietnam is slated to open in 2026. We are seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead and pre-open this 401- room property. The General Manager is overall accountable to drive operational excellence, financial performance, and guest satisfaction while fostering a high-performing team culture.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the financial performance of the unit both from an operator and an ownership level.
• Drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and optimize profitability.
• Ensure operations are run in line with laid down guidelines and stipulated procedures in accordance with the operating manuals and as per the law of the land.
• Upkeep and maintenance of the property/physical assets to its highest standard.
• Custodian of the brand values, credentials and maintain the ‘sanctity of the brand’.
• Maintain appropriate relations with our business partners, city authorities and other stakeholders
• Ensure appropriate/timely returns and management of the company’s business and finances.
• Ensure appropriate multi-faceted contacts with sources at corporate/cluster office.
• Lead and develop department heads, promoting a culture of collaboration and service excellence.
• Maintain harmonious and disciplined employee relations to ensure appropriate and forward thinking Human Capital Management.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or 2-year diploma with extensive experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience as General Manager in reputable international hotels/ service residences or proven track record in senior hotel leadership roles.
• Experience in pre-opening / start-ups will be added advantage
• Proficient in English language.
• Proficient in Japanese language or Korean language would be added advantage
• Well versed with the business outlook and market in Hanoi, Vietnam
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
• Strong analytical problem- solving skills and high computer literacy.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
