Hotel Academy Vietnam is seeking a results-driven Operations Director, base in Phú Quốc to oversee the day-to-day operational efficiency of our Rooms, Sales, and Food & Beverage (F&B) departments while maximizing overall revenue performance at the HUB Hotel Phú Quốc and The Hub Saigon. This strategic role blends operational oversight with a strong analytical focus on pricing, yield strategies, and profitability across all revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Hotel Operations Management (The HUB hotel)

Oversee the academy’s internal hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.

Set and maintain operational SOPs to match real-world hotel standards.

2. Revenue Management and Strategy

Develop and execute revenue optimization strategies across Rooms, Sales, and F&B.

Analyze performance data (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, F&B covers, spend per guest) to guide decision-making.

Collaborate with department heads to implement dynamic pricing and upselling strategies.

Conduct competitive market analysis and forecasting to identify trends and opportunities.

Monitor booking pace, segment mix, and channel performance to ensure revenue targets are met

3. Facilitation and training (Hotel Academy Phú Quốc)

Work closely with the Dean, Facilitators to integrate real-time hotel operations into the student learning journey for Vocational Learning_VET by EHL.

Facilitate structured student rotations and ensure safety, learning outcomes, and service quality are balanced.

Host regular alignment meetings between operations and academic teams to synchronize schedules, assessments, and feedback mechanisms.

Provide mentorship and practical training to students and trainees during their hands-on experience.

4.Facilities and Asset Management

Ensure all learning and operational facilities are safe, well-maintained, and properly equipped.

Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers.

5. Financial and Administrative Reports

Manage budgeting for operations-related costs (supplies, repairs, service contracts).

Monitor and control expenses according to approved budgets.

6. Team Management

Supervise operational staff (e.g., housekeeping attendants, maintenance staff, front desk officers).

Provide training and performance feedback to the operations team.

7. Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Maintain compliance with educational and hospitality regulatory requirements.

8. Relocation (Sài Gòn and Phú quốc office)

Available to travel when it's required

- Have a minimum of 5 years experience as Hotel operations manager / director, Vietnamese candidate with an International background

- Have a deep understanding about hotel operations (rooms, f&b, finance, revenue..)

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Operations, or a related field

- Strong service management experience in hospitality/hotel environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Organizational and time management abilities

- Familiarity with hospitality training or education environment is a strong advantage

- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese

- Experience working in an educational setting is a plus
