Financial Management & Reporting

· Oversee all operational finance activities including AR, AP, bank reconciliations, inventory control, and cost tracking (excluding payroll processing, but including review of HR payroll files).

· Prepare and submit all required reports on time, including:

o Monthly P&L, MMR, MFR to Owners by the 10th of each month

o Weekly and daily revenue reports

o Additional reports as required by Owners, SCLG, or BIM Hospitality

· Supervise monthly and quarterly VAT, PIT, and contractor tax filings in line with Vietnamese regulations.

· Manage outstanding debts, especially large or repeat customer accounts.

· Review and approve supplier payments and advances to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

· Maintain organised storage of all financial documents by number, date, and supplier.

Internal Controls & Compliance

· Implement and enforce financial SOPs, policies, and internal control measures.

· Monitor daily transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to company and regulatory standards.

· Ensure proper setup and maintenance of the Chart of Accounts, SMILE, and other finance systems in line with SCLG requirements.

Operational Support & Collaboration

· Act as the main finance contact for BIM Hospitality on Beach Club matters.

· Work closely with the Bar, Restaurant, and Kitchen teams to:

o Provide templates, systems, and guidance for cost control, inventory, and revenue management

o Support POS setup and ensure accuracy in reporting

o Follow up on internal audit results and implement procedural improvements

· Collaborate with the Director of Operations and HODs to analyse performance data, identify opportunities, and support operational decision-making.

Leadership & Team Culture

· Lead the property finance team in a positive, respectful, and solution-focused manner.

· Build strong relationships with operational departments, ensuring finance is a partner that supports rather than obstructs operations.

· Uphold SCLG values and ensure they are reflected in the finance function’s daily work.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Minimum 5 years’ finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

· Hospitality industry experience is required.

· Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

· Excellent computer skills (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software.

· SMILE system experience preferred.

· Fluent in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).
