About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

Perform daily Day 2 checking on account opening, account maintenance, reward redemption, reward adjustment, abnormal transaction review to ensure that they are complete, consistent, accurate and are entered correctly by the process owners.
Perform maker role for daily association settlement reconciliation and foreign exchange position squaring and prepare booking entries.
Investigates reconciliation differences
Perform maker role for quarterly association reports (QMR, QOC)
Perform maker role for annual FATCA reports and other related following tasks
Prepare periodic transaction volume reports and other metric reports.
Ensures accuracy of reports and reconciliations.
Carries out detailed proof reviews.
Provide regular status updates for all project participants.
Applies good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided

Job Requirements

Previous relevant experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Fluent in English language, both writing and speaking
2+ years in operations industry with good understanding of the operations controls preferred
Confident in communication skill and coordination skill
Self-motivated, with ability to work independently under pressure and with high efficiency plus tight deadline.
Proven organization and time management skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
