About the Department

We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities

Work closely with data analysts, business users, and other stakeholders to identify data requirements, implement solutions, and ensure data meet their reporting and analytical needs
Develop logical and physical data models to ensure the efficient organization of data within the database
Optimize queries to improve performance of the database
Implement data validation and cleansing routines to monitor and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data within the data base
Register, implement, and monitor critical data elements and business rules
Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
Implement, and monitor data quality check to ensure consistency, and reliability of data across the bank
Document technical specifications, data models, ETL processes, data flow diagrams, and other relevant technical details for future reference and team collaboration
Regularly perform testing group data mart to ensure that they meet functional and performance requirements

Job Requirements

+ Mandatory
- 2-3 years relevant experience
- Strong skills in SQL for querying, data transformation, and optimization
- Ability to design and understand data schema models suitable for data mart
- Good in integrating data from multiple sources
- Understanding of data quality principles to maintain data accuracy
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and find efficient solutions to technical challenges
- Good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and documenting processes

+ Preferred:
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SAS, VBA, SQL

+ Other Skills:
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and business users
- Dedication to keeping up with the latest tools, and technologies in the data engineering field
