Overview:

The supplier Program Manager at eero is responsible for driving new package production introduction concept approval through ramp of eero devices. Your role starts from the concept commitment and continues through the production ramp and completes after Post Ramp Qualifications ensuring all suppliers production lines are qualified and operational.You lead yield improvement at supplier and are responsible for the capacity, definition and delivery of the module or sub-component to eero FATP site.

The package design development and operational factory scope is required. FATP and Pack out line are familiar acronyms as you’re the primary operational point of contact to stand up the factory production line. You are biased for action in identifying gating decisions, gathering data, weighing options, and making forward progress. You are data driven and calculate risk associated to tactically bring a product through manufacturing to market balancing user experience, product branding, manufacturability, and cost.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead eero's packaging products through new product introduction
  • Cross functional development with Package design team, Compliance, PD, Quality, Reliability, Product, and Supply Chain to execute and deliver packaging products across multiple suppliers.
  • Drive NPI at factory (EVT, DVT, PVT) and ongoing qualification management for alternative sources, factory moves, and package artwork changes.
  • Stand-up supplier's factory ensuring definition and execution for all manufacturing processes meet eero standards
  • Own the overall package product lines – primary contact point for CM/Supplier to coordinate, define, and resolve any capacity and technical production issues on the line.
  • Engage in process definition on production line flow, layout, UPH to optimize for eero production goals.
  • Develop rapport with supplier partners and detailed knowledge of "how the factory works" its capabilities and limitations.
  • Own commitment of Operations schedules and POR build readiness for EV, DV, PV+
  • Lead Packaging weekly review meeting with eero US & suppliers.
  • Support coverage in region with travel during builds to supplier (50% travel) to drive issue resolution and/or support build/ramp activities
  • Manage and create change orders for packaging.
  • Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of package materials through driving the suppliers and production cycle to determine required materials purchases.
  • Obtains packaging materials used for NPI and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels for prototype and /or production build.
  • Lead package design engineer to finalized package design include artwork, box size, Label and material).
  • Work with TPM to finalize the new package design, NPI build matrix and shipping Target .
  • Develop and qualify packaging production processes at suppliers
  • Coordinate builds, qualification tests, and prove packaging meets quality and functionality.

Key job responsibilities

What You'll Do:

A day in the life

We're Looking For Someone With:

5+ years in packaging manufacturing with direct responsibility to manage manufacturing operations production line.

Experience with package product life cycle in early design phases.

Data driven systemic approach to driving issues to root cause.

Demonstrated experience on production pack out line and qualifying end to end products which require pack out.

BS degree in Engineering

Exceptional communication skills via brevity and details; able to distill information to communicate to appropriate audience.

Understanding of Asia business culture

Attention to detail without becoming lost in the details

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

We're looking for someone with:
