Join our dynamic hybrid working team at Grab, where you will work with teams like analytics and mobile engineers. Your role in building our Telemetry Portal will shape the future of our products and inspire creativity.

Get to Know the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will build both the front-end and back-end components of our Telemetry Portal. You will collaborate with several teams to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, and develop high-quality code that meets performance and usability standards.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will report to the team Senior Engineering Manager, collaborate with product managers, designers, and other partners to define user requirements and product specifications
• You will develop responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React & TypeScript.
• You will architect scalable back-end systems and APIs using server-side technologies such as Go and Postgres DB.
• You will integrate third-party services and APIs to extend our applications' functionality, ensuring seamless data exchange.
• You will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards.
• You will conduct code reviews and collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges and improve code quality.
• You will implement automated tests and continuous integration pipelines to ensure the stability and performance of our applications.
• You will participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to lead project delivery and team collaboration.
• You will participate in OnCall rotation to ensure infrastructure and pipeline Service level agreements are met.
• You will stay current with latest technologies and industry trends, advocating for using new tools and practices.
  
  

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React & TypeScript.
• 5+ years experience in server-side programming languages such as Go, and an understanding of CRUD operations.
• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database systems such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Debug complex issues across the stack.
• Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners to work in a team environment.
• Experience integrating third-party services and APIs.
• Knowledge of automated testing and continuous integration pipelines
