The integrated marketing team crafts and executes integrated marketing and communications & campaign strategies that resonate with our diverse audience across SEA. The team builds brand awareness, drive user engagement, and enhance the overall shopping experience. Whether it's launching innovative marketing campaigns, optimizing user interfaces, or crafting compelling narratives, the team's contributions are essential to TikTokShop's success in SEA.
In this role, you will act as the strategic architect, transforming business and brand challenges/opportunities into compelling creative and communication directions. This role demands a strategist who combines creativity with analytical acumen to devise communication strategies that effectively tackle brand challenges/opportunities. The planner will collaborate closely with To-Consumer, To-Business, and Media teams to ensure campaigns are cohesive and impactful.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Insight Development: Leverage existing internal analytic tools, BHT, social listening, regional research, and conduct local research (if needed) to gather valuable insights and form creative and communication strategies
- Market and Competition Analysis: Stay updated on competitor movements, communication trends, and cross-field case studies to enrich market knowledge and initiate impactful campaigns
- Creative Brief Development: Write detailed creative briefs for all types of campaigns, including To-Consumer and To-Business, and provide the ideal environment for creative development. Combine market data, qualitative/desk research, product knowledge, and execution references to enable the creative team to produce innovative ideas, especially for digital platforms
- Communication Strategy: Develop communication strategies and work closely with internal and external teams to ensure integrated communication across all touchpoints
- Reputation Building: Document case studies and prepare award submissions to highlight the marketing team's achievements and build its reputation
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the center of expertise to collaborate with Marketing Team (To-C/To-B/Media), Platform Campaigns, and IP Campaigns and other XFN to co-develop cohesive and effective campaigns
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an agency setting, preferably in roles such as Creative Planner or Strategic Planner (e-commerce client exposure is a plus)
- Ability to blend creativity with analytical skills to develop effective communication strategies
Preferred Qualification:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and flexible enough to deliver campaigns of varying scales within short lead times
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong self-motivation
