Position Summary:

The Mid-Level Network Administrator and Hardware Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. This role involves managing the hardware lifecycle, ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure, and providing support for Office 365, Linux, Windows environments, and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Administration:

o Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.

o Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

o Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.

o Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.

o Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.

• Hardware Management:

o Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, installation, maintenance, and disposal of IT hardware.

o Ensure hardware is properly inventoried, tracked, and maintained.

o Coordinate with vendors for hardware support and warranty claims.

• System and Security Management:

o Administer Office 365, Linux, and Windows servers.

o Implement and maintain security systems, including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.

o Conduct regular security audits and system backups.

o Manage end-point security solutions and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

• Support and Troubleshooting:

o Provide second and third-level support for IT-related issues.

o Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, conducting root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

o Assist in managing and resolving complex technical issues.

• Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, hardware inventories, and IT policies.

o Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and hardware status.

• Experience:

o Minimum of 4 years of experience in network administration and hardware management.

o Proven experience with Office 365 administration, Linux, and Windows environments.

o Experience with server management, backups, and security systems.

• Technical Skills:

o Strong knowledge of networking protocols and concepts.

o Proficient in managing and configuring hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

o Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker).

o Expertise in security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus, and end-point protection.

o Ability to script and automate tasks using tools such as PowerShell or Bash.

• Soft Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

o Strong English skills, written and spoken,english fluency.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Certifications:

o Any Certification is a plus, but experience is invaluable to this company.
