Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Java Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services for Loyalty platform, Payment solutions, and Banking applications. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Java backend development, a strong understanding of financial systems, and experience working with high-performance and secure applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop APIs and integrate with third-party payment, banking, and loyalty platforms.
• Optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and low latency.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis to manage transactions efficiently.
• Implement best practices for security and data protection in financial applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and uphold high coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends in banking, payments, and loyalty solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Experience working with payment gateways, banking APIs, or loyalty platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, encryption).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or banking industries.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture.
• Certifications in Java, Cloud, or Security are a plus.
