Job Description
- Responsible for customs procedures, guiding the team in customs declarations, and handling import/export procedures for clients.
- Support and advise staff on checking procedures, and product policies, and provide consultation to customers when needed.
- Proactively observe, investigate, and resolve any issues or challenges arising related to shipping lines, customs, ports, clients, subcontractors, and internal matters
- Responsible for reviewing and approving AR (LCC, stakes), reimbursements, advances, and daily payments of documents and operations.
- Collaborate with the transport department to ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Observe, coordinate, and organize tasks effectively for Logistics department staff.
- Research and propose training programs, seminars, etc., if necessary and appropriate, for the department’s and company’s development.
- Establish procedures and regulations if needed to enhance the department’s work efficiency.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the management team.
- Analyze the performance of the Logistics department and provide recommendations and solutions for improvement.
- Graduated from college or higher in related fields such as Logistics, Maritime, Economics, Foreign Trade
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in a logistics company
- Strong expertise in customs declaration is required
