Those in corporate finance at PwC will provide strategic financial advice and solutions to help clients navigate complex business transactions and optimise their capital structure. You will analyse financial data, conduct due diligence, and assist in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

We are currently looking for an Associate to join our Deals Corporate Finance team in Hanoi.

Job Description:

• Support managers in performing lead sell-side/buy-side deals advisory services
• Research and analyse pertinent client, industry, and technical matters related to, as well as troubleshoot and derive creative solutions for, the following:

• Identifying and compiling applicable third-party market research data;
• Designing and completing background profiles of a target company, its competitors and its industry;
• Performing the preliminary analysis of target company financial and operational performance;
• Analysing a target company, market or industry metrics; designing and owning key analyses in client deliverables; and
• Collecting and preparing the necessary data for market sizing or modelling.

• Conduct quantitative analyses related to company valuations, assist the preparation of financial models, and perform comparative and pro forma analyses.
  
  

• To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of one year of working experience in M&A/corporate finance/private equity/security firms/ investment (buy-side)/ investor relation and fundraising (sell-side) in fast-growing companies or auditing
• Effective written and verbal business communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
• A flexible working style and good team spirit
• A good commercial mindset with an eye for detail Computer literacy, particularly with software applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Professional qualifications, such as ACCA, CPA and CFA, are a plus
