About the role
The Senior Accountant assists the Supervisor and/or Assistant Manager in daily deliverables to provide excellent service to clients. They provide financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports, submitting the reports to the client and are able to coach junior staff in the department. This position is on-site at client's office.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains relationship with clients and internal/external stakeholders;
- Performs daily work with high complexity, including closing full set of books such as: Costing, cash flows, related parties transactrion report, annual financial statements, annual CIT return, management reports/ financial analysis;
- Performs mapping local Chart of Accounts and client’s Chart of Accounts
- Converts Financial statements under VAS to IFRS or US GAAPs
- Performs reconciliation between VAS and IFRS or US GAAPs
- Supervises Accountants and Junior Accountants, and reviews draft deliverables, including: monthly/annually financial statements; reconciliation; VAT, CIT, BLT, FCT computations and returns; payments; statistic reports; management reports, financial analysis; …
- Queries management with internal and external- 3rd party stakeholders;
- Assists Manager/AM to implement internal control procedures and train junior staff.
- Works with auditor and tax officer
- Performs other duties as assigned;
Job requirements
- Degree Holder in Accountancy or business related disciplines;
- 3 - 6 years’ experience in CPA firms or multinational companies;
- Sound knowledge of international accounting and banking practices;
- Good command of written and spoken English;
- Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage;
- Pursuing or qualified in Local professional examinations.
