Our client is a foreign company specializing in Infrastructure, collaborating with industrial clients across various sectors and industrial zones in Vietnam.

As an Investment Manager (based in HCMC or Hanoi), your role involves formulating tactics to oversee a substantial portfolio of corporate investments, which encompass:

• Perform market and competition analysis to establish a plan for deploying funds in renewable energy investments.
• Supervise the origination and execution of clean energy investments in Vietnam, covering acquisitions, mergers, investments, and divestitures in projects, joint ventures, and development platforms. This involves direct collaboration with crucial stakeholders, including internal management, cross-functional interactions, external advisors, investors, and more.
• Manage the development of financial models for projects/assets related to renewable energy generation.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of investment proposals to the local Investment Committee.
• Establish and manage relationships with co-investors.
• Maintain working relationships with external consultants, including developers, attorneys, technical advisors, debt providers, EPC contractors, etc., both in Vietnam and potentially in the broader region.
• Take the lead in evaluating M&A prospects from inception to conclusion, covering origination, due diligence, offer submission, negotiation of transaction documents, and finalizing transactions.
• Prepare essential documents, including board presentations and valuation notes, linked to M&A opportunities.
• Engage with potential sellers/partners and lead negotiations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal coordination, local management, and the M&A unit at the headquarters.
• Ensure precision and relevance in financial modeling and key assumptions, adapting models as necessary.
• Create and sustain the M&A deal pipeline.
• Cultivate a robust network for originating deals and devise a structured approach for shortlisting and processing deals.
• Offer support to the Project Finance team in the process of raising debt.
• Handle other occasional operational finance activities as required.
