Responsibilities
- Maintain and implement technical solutions required for the good performance of the documentation function with sound engineering practices
- Gather information through research, interviewing, application testing, training, and product team meetings to develop accurate and complete product documentation
- Work closely with key stakeholders to deepen technical understanding of the product, releases, and business goals, in order to:
- Implement documentation changes
- Continuously improve documentation
- Collaborate on Jira and Confluence effectively to track and record documentation tasks
- Research and correct documentation defects
- Attend and participate in meetings/stand-ups/demos for projects and tasks owned by the writer
- Perform other duties as assigned by line manager
- Excellent command of English
- Relevant BA/BS degree in IT, Software Engineering
- Familiarity with developer documentation
- Familiar with programming languages: Python, Java, Javascript / Typescript
- Experience using Git and terminal
- Willingness to learn a new field and complex subject matter
- Willingness to stay updated on technical communication trends
- Ability to deeply research technical topics
- Detail-oriented and able to put themselves in the place of product users
- Lateral thinking, critical thinking, and an eye for impact
- Clear and concise communication, both verbally and in writing
