Job Purpose
This role is to lead the newly formed Health vertical for Prudential Vietnam and drive growth of the business that aligns with PVA methodology and standard
Job Responsibilities
Be responsible for launching and scaling the health business and oversee health underwriting, claims management and customer service processes Develop, refine and own the Health insurance strategy and roadmap for Prudential Vietnam. Cascade the strategy and key priorities to all stakeholders within the business and Group Head office. Act as a connector and liaison between various departments and the project sponsor to foster collaboration and ensure alignment with strategic goals related to the Health business Galvanize momentum by building support and sponsorship locally with and Group stakeholders. Under your leadership, set up a small, dedicated capability focused on Health product, operations and technology to drive the execution plan. Organize and lead the regular health SteerCo to present performance reviews, action plans, bottlenecks and seek support as needed to ensure smooth project execution. Work closely with sales and distribution team to understand performance drivers, gaps and mobilize actions to address these gaps. Review and improve the sales and incentive model for Health products for both Agency and Bancassurance channels to maximize sales performance. Expand preferred Hospital network countrywide and improve overall proposition for customers through value added services. Build market intelligence and insight on competitor performance, new products and stay ahead of the industry through differentiated product/propositions Ensure Health insurance products and operations complying with laws, regulations, and industry standards; liaise with regulatory bodies and stay updated on changes in health insurance regulations Being the overall Program and Change Manager for the Health business, ensuring effective communication, sponsorship and awareness.
Job Accountability
Facilitate the end-to-end strategy formulation, transformation delivery and conduct periodic review. Build & oversee a leading Health proposition for customers aligned with PVA overall direction Act as connector between Health pillar and PVA TO office and Group TO/ Pillar to ensure alignment, smooth execution, right support and remove any bottlenecks when needed to improve business performance Building & leading a team with a strong entrepreneurial spirit
