JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting to support business decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General Ledger Management (25%)

•Maintain and manage general ledger accounts.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts regularly.

2. Financial Statement Preparation (20%)

•Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable Processing (20%)

•Process invoices, payments, and receipts.

•Reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

•Follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely collections.

4. Tax Compliance & Reporting (15%)

•Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll tax.

•Prepare and submit tax reports as required.

• Work with tax authorities and auditors during tax audits.

5. Financial Closing & Audits (15%)

•Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.

• Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.

6. Other Finance-Related Tasks (5%)

•Support management with additional financial tasks as needed.

•Assist with improving financial processes and controls.
