Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

• Join our dynamic team where you will have the opportunity to select and implement the most suitable technologies for various use cases, ensuring seamless deployment and operation
• Take responsibility for setting up data stores in structured, semi-structured, and non-structured formats, while ensuring data security through encryption
• Develop tools to securely access multiple data sources and create solutions for real-time analytics
• Embrace the latest container technologies to enhance our data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
  
  

About You

• Academic degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on ETL development and infrastructure
• Experience in one or more of the following: Elastic Search, Cassandra, Hadoop, or MongoDB
• Proficiency in Spark and Presto/Trino is essential
• Solid understanding of microservice-based architectures and experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, particularly with Kubernetes and Docker, will be highly advantageous
