• Continuously keeping up-to-date with technological development and improved ways of working and suggesting those to team members and managers.

• Liaise with Purchasing Department to brief suppliers for production when approval is obtained from all concerned parties for layout and copy.

• Maintain collateral and conduct occasional audit.

• Co-ordinate generic IHG merchandise and hotel brand merchandise, including gift items.

• Deliver Crowne Plaza Brand Promise and Service Signatures to daily work.

• Works with the team in preparing the weekly/monthly social media content calendar for all social media channels and execute postings.

• Create Influencer marketing plan and host Influencers when they are at the hotel.

• Assist with arranging media visits and handling of media at the hotel.

• Actively ‘listens’ to guest sentiment on-line and ensure the hotel responds accordingly.

• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Senior Marketing Manager. Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests.

• Responsible for the in-house point-of-sale materials and collateral such as brochures, presentations, monthly promotional posters, banners and leaflets, and ad-hoc announcement posters.

• Execute jobs from briefs in the form of Project Requisition Forms.

• Work on the concept and execution for the design of any job.

• Co-ordinate hotel brand standards collateral.

• Proofread copy of advertising, collateral and press releases where appropriate.

• Update and improve the website with content where appropriate.

• Actively identify and engage influencers to share content about the property with their followers to drive awareness for the hotel.

• Develop press releases for the hotel and communicate to media through pitching.

• Maintain and actively update the media database.

• Be responsible in keeping the property safe and secure, participating in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments which may be assigned by management when we have to pull together to get a task done
