- Understand client requirements: Review editing guidelines (color correction, retouching, background removal, resizing, etc.) and ensure team members follow them.
- Quality control: Check edited images against client specifications (resolution, format, color profile, watermarking).
- Data collection & analysis: Track error types (e.g., mis-cropping, inconsistent shadows, color mismatches) and propose corrective actions.
- Process monitoring: Ensure Photoshop actions, layer management, and file naming conventions are consistent across the team.
- Training: Support onboarding of new editors by explaining editing standards, Photoshop shortcuts, and QA checklists.
- Communication: Report quality status to project managers and provide feedback to editors.
- Continuous improvement: Suggest workflow optimizations (batch processing, automation scripts, plug-ins) to reduce errors and improve turnaround time.
- Client interaction: Clarify requirements or provide quality reports when requested.
