Role Objectives: Ensure suppliers meet Moose’s quality, reliability and compliance standards, including building systems, processes, check points and line equipment that prevent defects and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifitcations And Skills
- 8+ years in a similar position, preferably in toys related industry
- Strong experience in supplier quality management / industrial engineering
- Tertiary qualifications major in Engineering or Quality management
- Good command of English and Chinese Madarin
Process Control, Workflow Evaluation and Manufacturing Oversight
- Establish checkpoints in production lines with suppliers and monitor critical process.
- Validate supplier process controls
- Ensure supplier follow standardized manufacturing process according to Moose’s critical specification.
- Evaluate efficiency and risk of supplier’s workflows.
- Apply six sigma and lean methodologies to optimize operations
- Drive Corrective and preventive active for recurring issues.
- Lead supplier to perform investigation and failure analysis
- Define root cause with supplier and design short term fix to secure shipment
- Plan with supplier for long term corrective action
- Monitor supplier performance and support KPI study
- Provide detailed analysis to manager and report quality trends.
- Utilised statistical tools and power BI to present data to manager.
- Drive initiatives to lower defect rate, avoid scrap and rework costs
- Optimize check points, inline testing and quality check manpower.
- Work closely with procurement, engineering and planning team to align company objectives.
- Increase automation across production lines to enhance efficiency
- Drive to implement camera-based or robotic inspection systems to minimize human error
- Reduce reliance on manual inspections by advanced automated solutions.
