Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth lab operations, maintaining quality, safety standards, and SOP compliance.
- Manage lab personnel to avoid external/internal influences affecting test quality.
- Monitor facilities (safety, temperature, equipment) and implement 6S practices.
- Analyze testing capacity, plan for growth, and upgrade equipment, layout, and personnel as needed.
- Lead, train, and rotate team members to balance workloads and build versatility.
- Oversee test accuracy, inventory, equipment calibration, and failed test analysis for improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Material Team, BUs, factories, T1/T2 labs) on testing issues and new material releases.
- Continuously research and apply new testing technologies and protocols.
Requirements:
- College/University degree.
- 3-4 years in a managerial role within the footwear industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
- Strong skills in data analysis, lab result evaluation, and reporting.
- Good communication skills with English proficiency (verbal and written).
