We are looking for an Android Engineer (Kotlin) to join our expert team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role is perfect for team players with a strong interest in developing their international career - not just as a coder, but as a product builder.
YOUR EXCITING TASKS
- Build enterprise-grade Android mobile applications tailored for the German B2B market and continuously improve them to bring products to the next level.
- Translate UI/UX designs and technical documentation into high-quality, functional code while meeting project deadlines.
- Produce optimized, reusable, and maintainable code following Android development best practices.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, iOS developers, backend engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth development and timely delivery.
- Focus on performance, scalability, and responsiveness to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Analyze, identify, and fix complex bugs to deliver reliable and robust solutions.
- Review code, provide constructive feedback, and identify potential issues to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Actively share ideas, propose improvements, and provide technical solutions to enhance product quality and performance.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Native Android development.
- Deep understanding of UI/UX best practices for Android.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries, along with experience working with databases and local storage.
- Knowledge of reactive programming patterns and experience with libraries such as Kotlin Coroutines.
- Familiarity with Android architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP) and a strong grasp of modular and clean architecture principles.
- Experience with CI/CD practices, test automation, and performance profiling.
- Experience with analytics and logging tools, such as Datadog, Firebase, or similar, to monitor app performance and user behavior.
- Experience with Android Jetpack components and libraries, including Navigation, LiveData, and ViewModel.
- Knowledge of privacy and security best practices in Android application development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services such as AWS or Firebase for app integration
- You understand and know how to prioritize your tasks with a problem-solving mindset.
- You don't take things personally and are comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early-stage product development.
- You don't wait for others to tell you what you need to do but proactively reach out to people, communicate, ask for help, and get things done.
- You are proficient in communicating in the English language.
