About this role:

This role is responsible for overseeing all supply chain operations to ensure the efficient & cost effective procurement, logistics & warehouse activities for Highland Coffee Roastery. This role will lead a team of procurement and warehouse personnel to manage supplier relationships, maintain operational excellence across the supply chain to ensure the material supply & proper production planning to meet the demand of customers, manage the cost of goods sold (COGS) and optimize department budgets.

Key Accountabilities:

• Supply Chain Optimization Assist Production Manager in managing manufacturing budgets including COGS, and Warehouse productivity targets.
• Analyze supply chain data & identify cost-saving opportunities, reduce waste and implement measures to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide regular reporting on supply chain performance metrics to the Production Manager.

Procurement Management

• Develop and implement procurement plan to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, packaging supplies, and other necessary inputs for coffee production.
• Supervise the Procurement Specialist to source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage key vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with planning and production team to develop a consolidated forecast, and execute based on demand and supply plan.
• Review and approve purchase orders, monitor order status, and resolve any operational issues.

Warehouse Management

• Manage transportation, and delivery activities to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment.
• Optimize logistics operations, including route planning, carrier selection, and freight cost management.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources.
• Develop and implement warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, picking, and packing, to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.
• In partnership with QA, ensuring compliance with regulatory and government agency across local and global (labeling, Halal, ingredient content…).

Team Management

• Supervise and manage team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
• Train new team members to operate autonomously while adhering to standards.
