About Us

• Damen Song Cam Shipyard is engineering, building, fitting out, commissioning and delivering ship types of the Damen range. Basic designs and most components are delivered to DSCS by Damen Shipyards Gorinchem. DSCS will complete the detailed design, produce all required production instructions, supplement the remaining components either by her own production or by purchasing /subcontracting and provide project management.
• ICT Application department has the following core functions: department provides support to local user/department at DSCS on operations such as: Data analysis and reporting, Application consultancy service and providing IT related training courses.
  
  

Job objective

The business analyst's primary objective is to help businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.

Key accountabilities

• Analysis and Supporting Business users:
• Global communication with and support for users in the business data.
• Helping local business analysts building reports
• Assists in the collection and consolidation of required information and data
• Technical Recommendation and Testing:
• Accurately and efficiently executes test plans.
• Assembles and documents all test results.
• Helping departments building KPIs.
• Project Execution:
• Understands project plans and is able to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines.
• Takes input from supervisor and it able to appropriately apply comments/feedback.
• Adheres to project standards defined by project management.
• Accurately employs our methodology and documentation tools.
• Proactively carries out project support /administrative functions.
• Establishes responsible deadlines and personal work plans and manages time effectively
  
  

Skills & Experience

• Education/Experience:
• At least 2 years of direct experience in a Business Analyst role within a technology organization
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic Knowledge of implementation and configuration of enterprise systems such as CRM, or ERP
• Proficient with Microsoft O365 product suite
• BA in Business discipline and/or BA in Computer Science or related field
