YOUR MISSION

• Drives the implementation of Global Footwear Quality vision, strategy, and systems at supply partners. Leads and manages onsite production / quality teams to ensure all Puma product requirements, quality standards and delivery schedule are met. Takes ownership of Production/Quality KPIs.
• Ensures Puma product compliance at T1 suppliers is maintained through quality system / process audits and random finished goods inspection.
• Leads and manages all quality related themes in commercialization and production. Follow up on key initiative status thru commercialization for seamless handovers (RFT)
• Manages handover of production processes and standards from Product Engineering/commercialization to ensure it is seamless and complete.
• Monitor QA audits of QA Managers based on established quality and process standards through unannounced factory visits to monitor actual production quality levels. Assessment, technical assistance, and initial guidance, including introduction of QA tools & initiatives to new facilities.
• Works with Global Quality team to establish a quality evaluation system. Drives and ensures correct implementation of Puma QMS and Best practices at T1 facilities. In collaboration with Global Quality, audits & rates T1 QMS set up and implementation status. Drives and manages random modular QMS audits at T1 facilities to enhance overall Factory rating and compliance.
• Ensures standardized problem solving/root cause analysis from T1s on defectives and ensures corrective actions getting implemented and being sustainable. In collaboration with Quality Managers, certifies T1 EoL and Finished goods inspectors.
• Manages implementation of 3rd party finished goods inspections at T1 warehouses. Training and mentoring of both Puma and Factory Production and Quality Employees regarding QMS Compliance.
• Involvement as required with VOC reduction, PACE, SAFE initiatives, and compliance. Facilitates cross-functional events (e.g., T1 cross-visits; Quality workshops etc..) to identify short-, mid- and long-term Quality improvement opportunities. Manages the communication between Sales Sub and Supply partners regarding Quality claims.
• Manages the Production Quality teams in the most efficient way based on production schedules and ensures smooth rotation within the team. Responsible for several Factory facilities across countries
