JOB SUMMARY
Follow up the qualification and improvement of new models, parts for consumer power tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
1. Work according to policies and procedures set by CPT.
2. Follow up the transfer of platic parts from PRC to VN from initiation till mass prodution release.
3. Work with multiple teams (engineering, quality, lab, supplier...) to test, evaluate and validate transfer components.
4. Facilitate project flow including regular contact with other functional team members.
5. Keep track project schedule and ensure the adherence to milestones; keep project leaders informed on project issues.
6. Prepare all the product documents, i.e. Feasibility study report, CAD drawing, FMEA, FEA, Product Specification, etc for review.
7. Interact with suppliers to develop part/product specifications that meet performance requirements and ensure on time delivery.
8. Invovle in failure analysis activities, work with Engineering, SQE, suppliers for solution/improvement and follow up the implementation.
9. Update engineering documents include CAD drawing, BOM, ECO, SER, etc. and follow up for review and release.
10. Provide support to project engineer as necessaryBachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronic or related Engineering fields.
At least 2-5 years relevant working experience in Engineering field.
Knowledge in Plastic injection molding orMetal manufacturing
Familiar with product evaluation and validation process.
Good at GD&T, 2D and 3D CAD (NX, ProE).
Good English, both verbal and written- Laptop
