What You'll Do

As a Business Development Manager, your primary role will be to drive sales across various products including Warehousing, Local Distribution, Air Freight, Sea Freight and Road Transportation business. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be crucial in responding to incoming queries and ensuring resolution of service. You will be expected to meet and exceed set targets contributing to the department's revenue. Your strong interpersonal skills will come into play as you identify potential customers, register opportunities in Vietnam, and pursue these opportunities to generate revenue. Regular visits to existing accounts will be part of your routine, ensuring our service levels are validated while developing new revenue streams. Your negotiation skills will be key in maximizing profits while adhering to price guidelines. In addition, you will support Customer Service, working closely with Operations and Documentation on executing customer service contracts.

  • Bring sales for products such as Warehousing, Local Distribution, Air Freight, Sea Freight and Road Transportation business.
  • Respond to incoming queries and ensure the resolution of service.
  • Meet and exceed set targets in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
  • Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating business.
  • Maintain records of customer details / sales visits.
  • Identify potential customers and register opportunities in Vietnam; relentlessly pursue realization of such opportunities leading to revenue for the company.
  • Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams.
  • Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
  • Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
  • Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the Accounting Dept.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role is self-motivated with strong communication skills. You have proven experience managing workloads effectively and meeting deadlines. Your ability to work well in a team, coupled with your positive customer-oriented mindset, sets you apart from others. You possess strong interpersonal, vocal communication and negotiation skills, and have the ability to work independently. A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in marketing, business management, logistics or any related fields is required. Fluency in English is a must, as is 5-7 years experience in the Freight Forwarding industry. Willingness to travel in and out of the country is also necessary.
