Role Description
- Overseeing the development and implementation of digital lending strategies of SmartSME.
- Responsible for P&L and budget of SmartSME lending and insurance business.
- Developing and implementing acquisition strategies to create demand and identify lead generation sources.
- Establishing and maintaining partnerships with lead aggregators, fintechs, and e-commerce players.
- Proactively work with sales channels and partners to promote lending and insurance products.
- Work with different divisions in the bank to ensure success of lending products being promoted.
- Working with internal business units to identify and prioritize opportunities for process, technology, and change-related projects.
- Ensuring the digital app of SmartSME is simple but yet engaging for SME owners and relevant staff.
- Ensuring compliance with rules and regulations of SBV and authorities, whilst ensuring minimal risks to the business.
- Other tasks required by line manager / CEO.
Qualifications
- BA degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or relevant; higher is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ year experience sales in finance, accounting & auditing, or banking.
- Overall knowledge of commercial business and regulations that specifically affect SME or mSME credits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership experience in managing diverse teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services.
- Experience in banking or financial institutions.
- Experience in retail lending or digital lending.
- Ability to structure, plan, and execute projects.
