Key objectives: - Being responsible for development of new raw materials, specifications, processes and the continuous improvement of existing ones. - Executing with Excellence New Product Development, Innovations, Renovations and Value Engineering initiatives (VICO). - Supporting the securing of raw material and product quality via ensuring accuracy of Raw and Product specifications. - Being active and integrated team player within the Local, Regional and Global R&D communities.
Job Responsibilities: - To support the implementation of Innovation, Renovation and Value Engineering projects by ensuring the compliance to Company regulations, including, not limited to, Food Safety & Quality and SHE (Safety–Health–Environment) requirements: • Develop product prototypes in laboratory and take supervisorial role in validation of new recipes and/or processing settings when upscaling from laboratory to pilot plant, production trial and mass production; • Responsible for all activities of internal sensory evaluation, shelf-life test and other technical evaluations; • Provide support in product concept test, external product performance test; • Assess and refine product labelling and product registration; • Manage raw, packaging materials and product specifications on and off system; • Manage equipment and facilities in R&D laboratory;
- To enrich and support product innovation strategy: • Stay abreast with market trends; • Work closely with R&D expert teams to identify new commercial and technological developments to generate new opportunities; • Understand the current legislation requirements of market countries; • Generate R&D and/or end projects reports for documentation and learning purposes.
- Advice & Support: • Support Production in respect of troubleshooting as necessary. • Act as an auditee as necessary.

- Education: Bachelor (Food Technology, Food Engineering or Food Science). - Experience: • Minimum of 1 year experience working in Product Development/R&D/Quality control and have career aspiration in R&D • Relevant experience in dairy or other FMCG food industry. • Understanding of materials and equipment in production. - Skills: • Food technology knowledge. • English writing and speaking. • Communication and presentation skill.
