Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement technical solutions required for the good performance of the documentation function with sound engineering practices
• Gather information through research, interviewing, application testing, training, and product team meetings to develop accurate and complete product documentation
• Work closely with key stakeholders to deepen technical understanding of the product, releases, and business goals, in order to:
• Implement documentation changes
• Continuously improve documentation
• Collaborate on Jira and Confluence effectively to track and record documentation tasks
• Research and correct documentation defects
• Attend and participate in meetings/stand-ups/demos for projects and tasks owned by the writer
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager
  
  

Requirements

• Excellent command of English;
• Relevant BA/BS degree in IT, Software Engineering, English;
• Familiarity with developer documentation;
• Familiar with programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience using Git and the terminal;
• Willingness to learn a new field and complex subject matter;
• Willingness to stay updated on technical communication trends;
• Ability to deeply research technical topics;
• Detail-oriented and able to put themselves in the place of product users;
• Lateral thinking, critical thinking, and an eye for impact;
• Clear and concise communication, both verbally and in writing
