Mô Tả Công Việc

1. REPORTING LINES
• Direct report—Board of Directors/Chairman of the Board of Cityland Education
• Direct subordinates—Heads of Department (HOD)

2. RESPONSIBILITIES—SPECIFIC

• Pre-Opening
− Ensure the implementation of all aspects of the Licensee Manual and VET by EHL standards
− Liaise with all relevant stakeholders (public and private) to ensure timely delivery of all preopening activities
− Recruit key positions to ensure timely operationalization of the Training Centre (September 2023)
− Represent the project publicly and initiate Marketing Activities

• Academic Quality
− Monitor work performance of HODs and Trainers
− Implementation of the Learning materials and methodologies of Training members
− Course delivery
− Coordination with VET by EHL Team

• Student
− Directly responsible for Admissions, performance and student’s life

• Academic Administration
− Classroom and student planning and administration
− Record of course assessment (grades)
− Semestrial induction, opening and closure
− Certificate issuance and graduation ceremony

• Human Resources
− Develop the objectives and strategies to address the human capital needs of the VET by EHL centre
− Prepare annual overall budget for human resources and approval by the Board of Directors
− Develop and implement proper procedures in the VET by EHL centre for:
1. Recruitment
2. Induction
3. Compensation
4. Evaluation
5. Training & Career development
− Advise on the development of work culture within the VET by EHL centre and assist in maintaining this culture
− Create and maintain within the operations department a work culture of professionalism, client orientation, entrepreneurship and empowerment
− Implement and maintain a HR information system, if necessary

• Campus Operations
− Security and ergonomics of academic block, student accommodation and
Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) facilities

• Sales and Marketing
− Increasing visibility and reputation of the VET by EHL centre to students, parents and the industry in Vietnam through marketing and sales strategy, student admission, seminars…

• IT
− System, operation and security

• Finance
− System, operation, revenues and costs , P&L managements for both hotels, schools
− Accountability and transparency

B/ DEAN

RESPONSIBILITIES - GENERAL
To facilitate, coordinate, professionalize to set up and build up a strong Academy team in the field of Hospitality and Tourism in order to become a first leading institution in Vietnam.
• Prepare the centre’s annual budget in consultation with the General Director, Finance Director and Operations Manager and establishes benchmarks for teachers and personnel to achieve. Develop and comply with the annual budget.
• Periodically reviews, audits and inspects school’s facilities; classrooms, computers, canteens, restrooms, IT laboratories, Library and any school-based Demonstration Rooms and all other facilities, and works to ensure these are upgraded, well-maintained, safe and fully functional.
• Conducts periodic meetings or get-togethers with parents or students Employers and school teachers to encourage close collaboration among educational stakeholders in improving the performance of students.
• Presides over the adjudication process; mediating discussions among concerned parties involved whenever teachers issue disciplinary actions that are disputed.
• Maintain the highest standards of student conduct and strictly adhere to due process when.

Study program:
• Work with the GD and BOD of the school to look for more opportunities in adapting the program to the real market need.
• Work with the team to create the standard program to be recognized by the nation as the leading practical learning institution.
• Benchmark the school program to international training institutions with coordination of the EHL which will bring the whole team to become professional educator in the field of business. Competency and Curriculums:
• Identify and Edit the competency of school by benchmarking the competency standard as international skills in the field of Hospitality and Tourism.

Curriculum:
• Enable team in capacity of writing curriculum to adapt to developing market both locally and regionally. Unit and Lessons must be put in good structure for students in different skills to catch up easily and stay motivated to learn as well.
Practical Activities:
• Make sure the Training Hotel and Restaurant activities are well prepared to train and show the students how to be skilled trained people with working ethics.
• Sequences of practical activities are well planned with clear Pedagogy objective
• Safety and security for students and staff must apply strictly to everyone.

Management:
• Identify a clear teaching schedule and conduct regular class observations.
• Control working hours and shifts
• Write Job Descriptions for School Team and objectives as well if required
• Coach subordinates to perform Daily Tasks.

Administration:
• Work with Student affairs and Admin office to deal with Admin job such as letters, HR procedure,
• Account procedure, and student recruitment process…
• Work closer with student affairs for Student internships and agreements with companies.

Students:
• Control conduct and discipline of students closely
• Make sure that student use English during their study time.
• Student promotion with Orientation and Social team must be proactive among each other within PSE and PSE Institute
• Follow up student quality not only in School but also in apprentice system and internship area in company, make sure that every student signs agreement regarding the Academy Values, Ethics and Equality.

Partnerships and Communication:
• Create Relationships and partnerships in Education with other similar institutions.
• Keep relation with them with cooperation from student affairs office and Internship office of PSE Institute.
• Keep updated information about existing companies and Trends in the country and industry.

Communication:
• Communicate with GD, BOD and School Management team for relevant information you want which relate to your school.
• Share update information about your school with GD, BOD and the School Management Team.
• Report to General Director regularly based on agreed schedule.
• Meet with BOD of Academy and GD when requested.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Professional Experience
• 5 -10 years of experience in Hospitality Operations
• 10-15 years of experience, including hospitality management and/or teaching within a recognised institution
• School or Academy/Academic Management experience
• Passion for Training and to develop the students and the Industry.
• Track record of professional experiences in Vietnam /ASEAN
• Experience within academic management and program development
• Project Management Experience, Pre-opening Experience in a hospitality environment
• Leadership & Management experience
• Currently in Vietnam and willing to be based in Phu Quoc island / Hochiminh City

Academic Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Education
• 2+ years of experience as a Academics in charge or equivalent in a scholastic leadership role
• Graduated Hospitality Major.
• Valid teaching license
• Proven history in improving teaching performance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Language
• Competent in written and spoken English
