• Set up Da Nang Office
• Promote Ben Line Agencies, Marine Connections Company, and our Principals (Container Shipping Lines and NVOCCs) in Da Nang and the Central Vietnam market.
• Open and develop international container services from/to Danang.

Responsibilities

• Look for customers for container shipping lines in Danang, especially to the Chinese, Japanese market.
• Develop new accounts and long-term customer relationships.
• Daily deal with container shipping lines and Hochiminh office in terms of sales and marketing and other issue in Danang, such as operation, booking, equipment, customer service, and documentation.
• Survey the market frequently, include ocean freight, market volume, commodity, competitors, port situation … report and suggest solutions and plans.
• Update rightaway any suden changes in the market that impact to our business, such as new service from competitors, new container terminal, acident, new policy from the government of the port ….
• Manage and forecast bookings to maximise slot usage, avoid cargo rolling.
• Analyze competitor information and market data to expand the customer base.
• Organize and maintain sales reports and update booking forecasts.

Collaboration:

• Work with Hochiminh customer services and documentation team to release bookings on time, issue BLs, update system, send arrival notice, prepare loading list ….
• Work with HCM equipment team to release empty containers, repo empty, repair equipment, update the report ….
• Work with HCM Account team in terms of monthly SOA, tax submission, cost, and revenue…
• Work with HCM HR in terms of recruiting new staff, training, promotion, yearly salary, and bonus review (if any) for staff…

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

• At least 5 years of experience in Container Shipping Lines
• Container Shipping market knowledge required. 
• Bachelor’s Degree, priority in Maritime Transportation, Foreign Trade, Logistics …or equivalent
• Sales and Marketing skills
• Being good at English and Chinese is an advantage.
• Competent in Microsoft Office
• Ambitious, result-oriented.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with initiative, and a self-organizer.
• Strong commitment to delivering excellence with a strong focus on customer-centric service excellence.
• Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as required
