Responsible for the management, development and direction of the production planning to
meet customer’s demand and inventory control functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Planning & Production Control
− Leadership is provided to manage the production control and planning process in the most
cost-efficient manner.
− Processes, procedures, and policies are created and implemented that will enable to meet
scheduled commitments to our customers.
− Glovia maintenance activities are verified as being performed per schedule.
− Potential problems are identified and communicated that could affect process or product
quality.
− Interface with Engineers, Customer Service, Purchasing and Manufacturing team to ensure
rapid response to customer requirement.
− Conduct efficiently weekly/ monthly production planning meeting.
− Review trend on time deliveries, misses and analysis reasons to work with related
department for improvement/CAR.
2) Inventory Management
− Processes, procedures are created and implemented that will enable TEM to manage
inventory, increase inventory turns, and reduce excess builds and scrap to ensure lowest
possible cost.
− Review weekly and monthly reports for: shipping requirements, pull-ins/push-outs
requirements and component part.
− Lead team to make initiatives and have action to achieve inventory target.
3) ERP, software application & improvement
− Study and make use of Glovia to improve job quality.
− Study to generate various planning reports to support planning job, make work more
efficiently with less manual work.
− Lead and support improvement projects.

4) Leadership
− Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, engaged and empowered to deliver a high

organization can sustain and reflects market realities. Ensure you have the right people in the
right jobs, by consistently using proper interview and selection techniques and
methodologies throughout your organization.
− Ensure a learning environment is in place and your team is trained and developed to
consistently achieve your organization’s expectations in both the short and long terms.
− Ensure the Performance Management Process is fully operating with meaningful stretch
goals for all employees in your organization, that feedback is on-going and focused on
development and done with 100% On Time Delivery.
− Ensure a free flow of two-way information for your organization to work effectively and
communication channels are active and open.
− Ensure an accident-free environment by following all EH&S policies and procedures, maintain
a clean, safe and orderly environment and openly endorsing and creating an attitude that all
accidents are preventable within your sphere of influence.
− Ensure the spirit and intent of all employment laws and regulations and II-VI and local HR
policies and procedures are understood and complied with in your area.
5) Others
− Documentation and communication of suggestions for continuous improvement and cost
reduction is provided.
− Adapts readily to changes in work caused by new requirements and/or situations.
− Responsible for timely and consistent communication with department teams.
− Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
