Job brief
We are looking for a Restaurant Assistant Manager to ensure all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Restaurant Assistant Manager responsibilities include ordering kitchen utensils and equipment based on our needs, managing contracts and payroll and supervising restaurant staff performance. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes a great customer service. You should also be available to work within opening hours, including weekends and holidays.
Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests.

Job brief
1. ADMINISTRATION PROCEDURES
• Operating the restaurant according to the company's standards.
• Ensure restaurant operations comply with licensing and safety regulations.
• Proposing a plan to attract traffic.
• Updating customer data, being attractive more returning customers.
• Working with suppliers (spirits, wines,...) and purchasing dept for ordering process.
2. DAILY OPERATION
• Monitoring all restaurant activities taking place, including cleaning, maintenance,...
• Handling customer complaints with the motto of always giving priority to customers.
• Interaction with customers, create regular customer data, keep them posted for any news about promotions, events,...making good relationships with our customers.
• Monitoring and supervising all employees in the team about SOP
• Participating in inventory bar, ops,... adjust par level depending on the situation, ensuring optimization of raw material costs and other costs.
3. HUMAN RESOURCES
• Making roster and job assignment to employees, ensure running OPS smooth and well organized.
• Recording the AL, PO, OT, ... based on the company policy issued, work with accountants to align payroll for employees.
• Participating in recruiting personnel for the operation.
• Participating in employee training from skills, knowledge, SOP, upsell skills, customer interaction skills, ... or based on the company's training document
• Evaluating staff’s performance monthly by testing knowledge, reviewing their performance in the past of month, since then to upgrade the service to outstanding services.
4. OTHER
• Participating in giving ideas and marketing strategies for the restaurant, coordinate with the marketing department to organize events, promotions,...
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar to find the upgrade or change the dish accordingly.
• Looking for some event sponsors from brand suppliers to attract more traffic and minimize costs.

Yêu cầu công việc
• Work experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency.
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software
• Communication and team management abilities
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
• Diploma in Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or related field.
• 3 years related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experiences
