JOB SUMMARY
Communicate service needs to chef during functions, and prepare checks for payment. Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are set up for service with proper centerpieces and clean chinaware, glassware, and silverware. Check guest satisfaction, set tables per event type, and communicate dietary needs to the kitchen. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow safety protocols. Adhere to company policies, ensure uniform standards, and protect company assets. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns. Move objects up to 25 pounds and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Safety and Security: Report accidents to supervisors and correct unsafe procedures. Follow company safety protocols, use appropriate protective equipment, and complete necessary training. Ensure safe operation and storage of tools and equipment, and handle emergencies according to procedures.
- Policies and Procedures: Maintain confidentiality of materials and ensure professional appearance. Protect company assets and follow policies. Perform tasks as requested by supervisors.
- Guest Relations: Address guest needs professionally, listen actively, and ensure satisfaction. Assist individuals with disabilities and provide information on services and local attractions.
- Communication: Use clear, professional language with guests and coworkers. Answer phones with appropriate etiquette and share information discreetly.
- Assists Management: Train employees, assign tasks, motivate the team, and support department efficiency. Ensure employee compliance with safety standards, assist with goal setting, and perform line staff duties as needed.
- Working with Others: Build positive relationships, support coworkers, and promote teamwork. Handle sensitive issues with respect.
- Quality Assurance/Improvement: Ensure quality standards are met, recommend improvements, and monitor performance.
- Physical Tasks: Perform physical tasks like standing, lifting, and using computer systems.
- Food and Beverage Services: Follow procedures for serving alcohol, ensure food quality, maintain cleanliness, and handle guest incidents.
- Banquet/Event Supervision: Communicate needs with chefs, handle payments, and prepare banquet areas. Inspect cleanliness and check guest satisfaction during service.

- Education: High School Diploma.
- Related Work Experience: at least 1 year of related work experience.
- Fluent in English, confident and be able to work independently.
- Be well-organized and be able to multitask.
- Be careful, responsible and ensure the confidentiality of documents.
